• Isolates and maintains cultures of Aspergillus section flavi contaminated corn kernels, groundnut and soil samples and other microorganisms for further study. • Performs various laboratory experiment such a mutant development, competition, complementation and so on. • Lead the team that developed Aflasafe Tm (biocontrol pesticide) for Mozambique • Extracts and quantified DNA from maize samples

• First report of Taro (Coloeasia esulenta) leaf blight caused by Phytophthora colocasiae in Nigeria
• Genetically distinct Cercospora species cause grey leaf spot of maize (Zea mays L.) in Nigeria.
