I am working as a Technical Custodian Subsea (TCS) with Royal Dutch Shell on the Bonga Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility in the Golf of Guinea. My duty is to ensure the day to day smooth operation and production of Crude oil from the Subsea oil wells safely. My roles as TCS are as follows; - Installation and commissioning of crude oil wells Christmas trees, jumpers, HFL(hydraulic flying leads), EFL(electrical flying leads), Chemicals lines - Maintenance and well Intervention work - Installation and Maintenance of Hydraulic and Electrical Power Units - Installation and Maintenance of Master Control Systems and equipment - Manage and controls Subsea operational Alarm settings - Coaching and training of new Personnel I volunteered as a promoter of Health Safety and Environmental management within the work force on the FPSO I volunteered as a research Support to Earthwatch Institutes Scientist on Climate change in Acadia National Park, Schoodic Institute in Bar Harbour, Maine, USA, to promote, protect and preserve the environment and its Species.
