Utilization of Beni seed for oil and cake; Processing conditions such as roasting and steaming were carried out on beni seeds before oil was extracted using screw press. Oil extracted was analyzed for it's physical and chemical properties, the cake was also subjected to analysis. The oil was found to be of good quality while the cake was found be rich in protein. At present, the cake is being investigated for it's possible use in fish feed.
