Current professional activities type: 
Teaching
• I teach General Microbiology laboratory classes, teach from small group tutorials to large lectures by ensuring content, methods of delivery and learning materials meet the defined learning needs for students. • I also develop my teaching materials, methods and monitor the entire well being of the students. • I teach the students all General Microbiology laboratory techniques. • I conduct research on areas of interest and also supervise student research projects. • Teach classes online and using Blackboard learning resource center for faculty and students.

This competitive assistantship from Howard University is named after two renowned scholars: Dr. Ernest Everett Just, a pioneering biologist, academic and science writer, and Dr. Percy Lavon Julian, a pioneering chemist, and entrepreneur in the synthesis of medicinal drugs such as cortisone and steroids. The award program provides graduate students with an opportunity to gain research experience and develop research skills appropriate to their respective academic fields. Recipients may either work as a research assistant with a faculty mentor or pursue an independent project under the guidance of a faculty member.
