I am part of the Micro and Nano-robotics team at the FEMTO-ST research center (France). I am a mechatronic engineer and Baccalaureatus in Scientiis from the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala; I also have an International Master in mechatronic and micro-mechatronic systems from Nile University (Egypt), University of Oviedo (Spain) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (France). I am a member and volunteer of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World), SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers), and OSA (The Optical Society).
