 Physics at the mesoscale or nanometer scale in magnetic novel materials, including intermetallic alloys, magnetic thinfilms and magnetic oxides.  Advanced functional materials (such as spintronic, ferromagnetic, magneto caloric and thermoelectrics).  Magnetism: Intermetallics, magnetic thin films, magnetic oxides,Tunnel junctions and permanent magnets, Exchange spring magnets and manganites  Nanostructural formation mechanism in rapidly solidified amorphous materials.  Nanomaterials for Energy storage and conversion applications  Magnetic nanoparticles for biomedical applications
