I have been working on postharvest management (processing, washing, packaging, storing etc) of fruits and vegetables for 15 years under Horticulture Research Centre, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute. Now I am involved especially in fresh cut / minimal processing of fresh fruits and vegetables using natural and organic treatment. I awarded World Bank scholarship for PhD (Food Engg. & Bioprocess technology) at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. During my PhD, I produce prebiotic (resistant starch) from plantain waste and produce food products incorporating this prebiotic.
