Dr. Pramanik has made a significant contribution in the areas of physical-inorganic/ organic chemistry. His current research interests include molecular recognition, bio-imaging, sensors for biomarkers, drug delivery, and smart supramolecular assemblies. His research focuses on developing molecular assemblies or materials that could be used for addressing key scientific problems like affordable health care, stimuli-responsive smart molecules/materials, homeland security.
