Dr. Siddiqui’s interests involve metabolomics in which alterations of metabolite profiles can be associated with diseases and changes in metabolism or pathway modulation due to diseases of complex biological systems. She is particularly interested in the implementation of any lipidomic strategy in order to explore the mechanistic behavior of specific lipids towards the study condition in animals or plants.
