Second Lecture of OWSD Pakistan NC Lecture Series: " Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in Pakistan"

The OWSD Pakistan National Chapter initiated a series of lectures on "Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in Pakistan". 

The second lecture of this series was delivered by Prof. Dr. Talat Shahnaz Rahman on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Prof. Rahman completed her PhD in Physics from the University of Rochester and Post Doctorate in Surface Physics from the University of California. Prof. Talat is currently serving as UCF Pegasus Professor at the University of Central Florida. With numerous achievements, awards and honours, she has remarkable contributions in research and advancements in the field of Physics and has over 250 publications.

The program was live on Facebook and Instagram. Also, people from different cities of Pakistan and other countries joined via zoom. At the end of the session, an interactive Q&A session was conducted. 

Shield of appreciation was presented to Prof. Talat by Prof. Dr. Bina S. Siddiqui (President, OWSD Pakistan National Chapter) and Prof. Dr. Aziz Fatima Hasnain (Pioneer Executive Member). The session was concluded by Prof. Dr. Bina S. Siddiqui (President, OWSD Pakistan National Chapter)

The program was coordinated by faculty and students of KIBGE, University of Karachi.
