Doctorate Agricultural Sciences
My expertise is in the area of plant cell biotechnology with particular interest in creation of novel crop germplasm by exploiting somatic hybridization. Protoplast fusion is used to generate somatic hybrids with broader genetic back ground and unique organelle recombination, combating biotic/ abiotic stresses. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation for developing improved plants and cryopreservation for conserving important and endangered plants are also my areas of interest.

Master Agricultural Sciences
My MSc. Hons. Agri (PBG) thesis research title was "Stability analysis of seedling traits of cotton cultivars across moisture stress treatments"
