Dr. Chioma Ogochukwu Anorue is a Nigerian parasitologist and academic specializing in public health.
She holds a PhD in Parasitology and Public Health, an MSc in Medical Parasitology & Entomology, and a BSc in Zoology.
She serves as a Senior Lecturer and Head in the Department of Biology at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
Her research revolves around neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), including schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminths, and the ecological and epidemiological dynamics of parasite-host systems.
Dr. Anorue is also actively involved in public health advocacy, awareness creation, and community outreach related to NTDs control and prevention.
She has held leadership roles in professional organizations, including serving as state coordinator of the Female Genital Schistosomiasis Society, South East Coordinator of OWSD Nigeria, as chairperson of OWSD Ebonyi State.
She is also the founder of Awesome Touch Global Educational and leadership consults involved in global mentorship of young people and women.
