Evelyn Cardozo Rocabado holds a PhD in Energy Technology from KTH, Sweden, and is a Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in renewable energy, specifically focusing on biomass. Her career, spanning from 2008 to the present, demonstrates a strong background in research, academic leadership, and project coordination.

Key areas of expertise:

Renewable Energy Research: She has conducted extensive research on biomass combustion, life cycle assessment, and the potential of bioenergy. Her work includes developing models for heat and power generation and evaluating biomass cookstoves.

Academic Leadership: As a researcher at the Energy Research Center (CUIE) at Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS), she has held significant leadership roles, including Director of Research and Head of the Energy Research Center. She has also been the local coordinator for several international projects funded by organizations like Sida-Sweden, ARES and VLIR-UOS-Belgium, and ERASMUS PLUS.
