About me
I am a Mexican biologist that study mushrooms from the Institute of Biology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). My whole profesional studies has been about ecology and systematics of ectomycorrhizal fungi. My lab is called Micología Integral www.mico-integral.com
My passion is the nature and my hobbies are watercolor painting, hiking, and listen world music.
I studied my undergrad and grad school in Mexico, then I did two post-docs at UNAM and Stanford University.
I am a associated researcher at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City.
I began my lab three years ago called "Micología Integral" (www.mico-integral.com) and it has been a trip to learn how te get funds, to gradute students, to keep things rolling in the lab... I love my job!
