Undergraduate Computing and Information Technology
I am currently completing my Masters degree in Computer Science. My research focused on a radio emission source classification model using a machine learning algorithm. My research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics and astrophysics. My focus is automated processes in the field of astronomy which include detection and classification of sources. Further research will focus on exploring more machine learning algorithms for big data analysis in radio astronomy with a strong interest in the Square Kilometre Array telescopes and its precursor the MeerKAT. I have certifications from Development in Africa with Radio Astronomy (DARA) for basic training in Radio Interferometry, NeuroMatch Academy for its Deep Learning course, introduction to astrotourism and project management.
