Doctorate Structural, Cell and Molecular Biology
I specialize in study parasites at molecular and cellular level.
During my career I have applied molecular tools to study the cellular biology of protozoan parasites. My main experience are obligatory intracellular protozoan parasites such as: T. cruzi and T. gondii, both causative of disease to humans.

Undergraduate Biological Systems and Organisms
The bachelor program in Biology at The Pontifica Universidad Católica Del Ecuador (Quito-Ecuador) covers a wide range of subjects like zoology, botany, evolution, biochemistry, field techniques, developmental biology, physiology, molecular biology, among others. This program was two keys to ensure understanding and expanding of knowledge: theory classes and field work experiences, which give graduates a great advantage to pursue posgraduate programs.
