Undergraduate Biological Systems and Organisms
My bachelors integrated a complete study of species and ecosystems. The first years mainly focused on general biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, sociology, organic and inorganic chemistry, among other courses. Through the study years, the focus became more specific, towards earth biology, developing skills and knowledge in ecology, zoology, phisiology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, Applied research, evolution, biogeography, genetics, macroecology. Lastly, during my last year of studies, I selected the courses aligned to my interests, which were oceanography, marine biology and ecology, sea turtles and geographic information systems. My thesis research was focused in the Relationship between the incubation temperature and the carapace asymmetry of hatchlings of Lepidochelys olivacea incubated in the Area of Multiple Uses Hawaii -AUMH-, Santa Rosa, Guatemala.
