Maria Yuliana is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering specializing in sustainable materials and environmental remediation. Her research develops innovative adsorbents and catalysts from agricultural waste for water purification, biofuel production, and advanced drug delivery systems. With over 1,800 citations, her work bridges the gap between green chemistry and practical environmental solutions.

Maria Yuliana is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University. Her research focuses on sustainable energy, environmental science, and material science, with expertise in separation and purification processes. She pioneers the development of advanced materials—such as magnetic bio-adsorbents, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and nanocellulose composites—for critical applications in wastewater treatment, biodiesel production, and controlled drug release.
