Dr. Mst Laila Naher currently as a Senior Lecturer in Agrotechnology in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.During my current employment, I facilitated and assessed six problem-based learning teaching sessions for undergraduates on Plant Disease Management, Crop Protection, Chemicals in Agriculture, Molecular Biology, Post-harvest Technology, and Packaging Technology. Besides teaching, I am involved in varying types of research areas including bioherbicides compound identification from fungal extract, mushroom cultivation, production of biofertilizers from spent mushroom substrate, and fungal biodiversity.
I have published 40 impactful world-leading or internationally excellent-quality journal articles (cited 1004 times with an h-index of 13, AD World Scientist Ranking and University ranking 2022: 28 position in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan), successfully obtained more than 462,000 Malaysian Ringgit for research, supervised postgraduate students, and considerable experience in undergraduate teaching and workshop and consultancy at the Faculty of Agro-Based Industry, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan
