Researcher, educator, and advisor. Specialist in climate change, ocean affairs, one-health and biodiversity conservation, for Equatorial, Antarctic and Global ecosystems. Her work is focused on development by using approaches on evidence-based decision making and nature-based solutions, supported on Science-Policy and Science Diplomacy perspectives. Cofounder of the Ecuadorian Network of Women in Science, and the Ecuador National Chapter of the Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World OWSD-UNESCO, LAC Regional Member at EB OWSD 2021-2025.
