About me

Dr. Ruwanga Amarasingha is a Sri Lankan agricultural scientist and academic currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology at the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC).

Dr. Ruwanga Amarasingha is a Sri Lankan agricultural scientist and academic currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology at the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC).
Her research interests center on crop modelling, irrigation management, and climate change adaptation in agriculture. She has contributed to studies on Crop modelling (APSIM, DSSAT, MOSIACC), Crop Water Productivity, Climate Change Impact, GIS, and Remote sensing.
Dr. Amarasingha holds a PhD and has developed a research group (TECHNON Lab) within SLTC to advance interdisciplinary agricultural studies. She is recognized in scientific ranking systems for her contributions in agriculture, both nationally and internationally, as well as within her institution.
