About me
Dr. Sadia Iqbal is a Lecturer of Department of Chemistry at the women university Multan. Broadly, her research uses polymer and surface chemistry principles to fabricate interfaces, thermodynamics of hybrid systems. Applications range from tuning optical properties of metal nanoparticles and their use as a catalyst. Advanced characterization tools handled include X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform spectrometer and UV-visible spectrophotometer. At LUMS Dr. Sadia served as Research Assistant (2013-2014) and worked on a project.
She obtained her PhD degree in Physical Chemistry from The Women University, Multan in February 2022. She is currently working as a lecturer at The Women University Multan. He has published 12 journal articles with accumulative impact factor of 20, which have attracted 124 citations (Google Scholar). She has presented more than 5 research papers as poster/oral presentations in International and National Conferences. Her aim is to present science in an easy and tutorial way for students/ new researchers who are eager to do work in her research area. 10 M.Phil research students have completed their dissertations in her supervision. His area of research is polymer colloids and smart polymer microgels for biomedical, nano-technological and catalytic applications. She has successfully completed 2 research projects funded by home University.
