Doctorate Physics
I earned a PhD in nuclear physics from Cairo University in 2020. My Ph.D. research
involved using neutron activation analysis to detect heavy elements polluting the marine
environment. I conducted the measurements at Frank laboratory of nuclear physics, Joint
institute for nuclear research, Dubna, Russia using nuclear and analytical tools. My
master’s research focused on measurements of natural radioactive series U-238, Th-232
and K-40 in building materials and soils. Additionally, simulation models of homes were
built from these materials using MCNP 5 code. During my scientific journey , I sought to
use nuclear and analytical techniques to protect and preserve the environment around
us, and I became an advocate to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and sustainability.
I have shown strong leadership skills and presented my findings with confidence and
clarity, excelling both in team and individual work
