Doctorate Chemical Sciences
I finished my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the UNLP, I did my final work at the Dr. Jorge Ronco Applied Sciences Research Center (CINDECA) in the group directed by Dr. Mónica L. Casella, under the supervision of Directed by Dr. José Ruggera and co-directed by Dr. Pablo Peruzzo. Throughout this work I became familiar with the techniques for preparing catalysts and monitoring glycerol oxidation reactions using Infrared Spectroscopy (DRIFT). Subsequently, I developed my doctoral thesis work, entitled "Obtaining regular metallic arrangements on surfaces of nanoparticle-protein systems and their application in catalysis" under the direction of Dr. Pablo Peruzzo and the co-direction of Dr. Patricia Bola. I am currently doing a postdoc called "Design of nanostructures using bacterial S-layer proteins as templates supported on surfaces of inorganic oxides and/or liposomes. Applications in catalysis and drug delivery systems."
