My degree involves health planning and research in the field of dental public health. I am trained to devise and conduct research projects related to population health. My areas of interest are epidemiology, bio-statistics, instrument designing and qualitative research. I am passionate about working for betterment of health among school children and have worked on developing an oral health teaching module for Indian school children. I am also sensitized to working in rural and tribal communities with focus on smokeless tobacco usage among women. My future plan is to pursue a PhD in oral health informatics.
