Doctorate Chemical Sciences
My research interest is the Natural Products Chemistry, mainly focus on the search of new bioactive (antiplasmodial, antimicrobial activities) constituents from Cameroonian medicinal plants through biologically guided fractionation. Since my Master until my PhD, I was involved in the separation and isolation of natural compounds from their plant sources using chromatographic techniques (CC, TLC). This field also included structure elucidation of natural products via spectroscopic methods (IR, UV, GC-MS, NMR (1D and 2D). I am also interest by hemisynthesis of secondary metabolites from medicinal plants.
